B-SCAN

Detects contraband hidden in or on the body in < 7 s

B-SCAN screens a person from head to toe in a single, non-invasive pass, revealing weapons, narcotics, phones and other contraband concealed under clothing or inside body cavities—while keeping the dose below 2 µSv per inspection.

Description

Available in 16HR-FB (full-body) and 16HR-DV (dual-view) models, B-SCAN brings lab-quality imaging to prisons, border posts, mines and courts. Fixed internal components mean high reliability and low lifetime cost, and more than 250 units are already in daily service worldwide. The dual-view version delivers a simultaneous torso close-up for even finer resolution, yet both variants finish a scan in under seven seconds at ANSI-verified dose limits. Operators follow clear, colour-coded prompts and can store or export images for evidentiary review, while the sealed system needs only a standard power outlet and two staff to run.
